Focus on the right technique and footwork as you improve  your tennis endurance

Level 1  –  warm up

  • shadow strokes on the forehand and backhand side
  • perform in a slow and controlled manner, start with 10-15 forehands
  • focus on stepping in and getting on your front foot pretending to take the ball on the rise
  • recover back to your original position behind the baseline each time
  • then perform 10-15 backhands in the same fashion
  • repeat 1-3 times on each side, developing your rhythm, tempo and timing
  • focus on technique as you make precise movements with your footwork
